These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Aldikka's ride-hailing and transport services. By downloading our apps, accessing our website, or using any of our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Use of the Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By creating an account you represent that you are at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or our infrastructure
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Customer Responsibilities

Booking

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
  • Be ready at the pickup location when the driver arrives
  • Ensure the pickup location is safe and accessible for vehicles

Payment

  • Pay the fare shown in the app before or at the end of the trip
  • Ensure sufficient funds are available for your chosen payment method
  • Report any billing discrepancies within 24 hours

Conduct

  • Treat drivers with respect and courtesy at all times
  • Do not damage the vehicle or driver's property
  • Do not smoke, eat, or drink without the driver's permission
  • Do not engage in illegal activities during trips

Driver Responsibilities

Service Standards

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and current vehicle registration
  • Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition
  • Obey all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide professional and courteous service
  • Accept bookings reasonably and without discrimination

Vehicle Requirements

  • Maintain appropriate vehicle insurance at all times
  • Ensure all safety features are functional
  • Display required permits and documentation as required by law

Bookings, Cancellations & Fees

Booking Process

When you request a ride we attempt to match you with an available driver. You will see the estimated fare before confirming. The final fare is calculated based on distance, time, and any applicable surcharges.

Cancellations

  • Customer: Free cancellation within 2 minutes of booking. A cancellation fee may apply after that.
  • Driver: May cancel without penalty if the customer is not at the pickup location within 5 minutes of arrival.
  • No-Show: If the customer is unavailable within 5 minutes of driver arrival, the trip may be cancelled and a no-show fee applied.

Fees

  • Base fare calculated by distance and time
  • Waiting-time charges (after 2 minutes at pickup)
  • Surge pricing during high-demand periods
  • Airport, toll, and other applicable charges
  • Service fees and taxes as required by law

Payments

We accept credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and cash (where available). Payment must be completed before or at the end of each trip.

Refunds

Refunds may be issued for:

  • Service errors or overcharges verified by our support team
  • Driver no-shows or platform-initiated cancellations
  • Technical issues that materially affected the trip

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the trip date.

Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations including:

  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows
  • Non-payment of fares
  • Inappropriate behaviour toward other users
  • Fraudulent activities or misuse of the platform
  • Serious or repeated policy violations

You may delete your own account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion anonymizes your personal information while retaining trip and payment records as required by law.

Liability

Service Availability

We do not guarantee driver availability at all times or locations. Service depends on driver participation and demand.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fare paid for the affected trip. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or acts of third parties including drivers and other users.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or email. Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
